Task 11.1: GrowBot dissemination activities

Activities: This task will be dedicated to the activities for the dissemination of project results toward the scientific community, industrial representatives. Activities will follow the guidelines defined in the Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Plan (CoDE).


Expected results: i) GrowBot website; ii) scientific publication in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences; iii) dissemination material: flyers, posters, standard presentation; iv) at least one-day workshop to present results and technologies every year in International Conferences. The CoDE plan will be periodically updated according to the progress and emerging results of the project, considering changes in the stakeholders, input from Advisory Board, work context and potential use of results during the project lifetime.

Task 11.2: GrowBot communication

Activities: Communications on the GrowBot results will be done through press releases at national and international level, addressing popular newspapers, magazines, participation in radio and TV programs, in fairs, and organization of “scientific café”. A GrowBot traveling exhibition will be set up and shown in Italy (e.g., Science Gallery Venice) and Europe (e.g., Freiburg Botanical Garden in Germany) during the last year. All venues promote school visits. Online tools for communication (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube Channel, Instagram, etc.) will be setting up.


Expected results: To attract a general audience in scientific and technological fields and to train young people.

Task 11.3: GrowBot Exploitation

Activities: This task will focus on the definition of the exploitation opportunities for GrowBot and will include the knowledge from end users and stakeholders for the definition of a model for the sustainability of GrowBot beyond the duration of the project. Particular attention will be devoted to patents, under the supervision and support of the IIT Technology Transfer Office and of TTO of the other Institutes.


Expected results: Patents, presentations at industrial forums, market analysis. Specific dissemination material for industry (O&G and more): dedicated flyers with market analysis, technological advancement, benefit for human operators.
